I started to be a freelancer in the year 2017 after I left the corporate job ( I was an External Loan Assistant there) and to make the story short, Here are some reasons why I jump into a freelancing career:
  • For my MOM (I like the idea of being there when she is sick)
  • To SAVE more ( No more commute going to work)
  • To EARN more ( I can work with several part-time while having full-time jobs)
  • To Spend more TIME with loved ones and can also work with them whenever you both go!
  • To HELP and create an OPPORTUNITY
My Start was not really good, I didn’t own a laptop or PC at that time, I use my last salary to have an internet connection and enrolled in an online course. My supposed to be the very first client of mine was a scammer. I was about to lose hope but I never gave up and just pray and it did work! When I got back home from church I got contacted for an interview in Upwork, I got hired for a part-time to full-time with them. After a few months of adjustments, I got a one-time project for Real Estate, got part-time as a Social Media Assistant (more on Pinterest & Tailwind), and have 4 more clients for Pinterest threads. I also became an Executive VA of Australian Photographer.
